The Real Ways to Make Money Free Online!

You know with everyone struggling financially these days, everyone is on the internet trying to find new ways to make money free online. Everyone is looking for a get rich quick scheme but all they are finding are scams. There are ways to make great streams of income online but I will get to that in a little bit.

These days everyone wants to have a work-at-home job as an additional source of income. I see everywhere online, ads for data entry jobs that allow you to work at home but this is not all the appealing. Who wants to crunch numbers all day? Therefore, most people are not interested in that.

So how do you make money with a website or blog? You have to write tons of highly valuable and targeted content. This requires time, effort and creativity. The problem with doing business online is that you have to get traffic to your business.

Since you're in cyberspace, it is not like renting a building on the street corner of the busiest street in town. You have to know how to get free traffic from the search engines and use other traffic finding techniques out there.

Building a website, blog, forum or social networking that gets tons of traffic is one of the most efficient and lucrative small business opportunities on the web. You provide valuable content to your visitors and make money when they click on your ads or affiliate links. This takes time but it is well worth the reward if you stick to it and know it isn't going to be a money making venture over night.

You could also build an online store but unless you have a huge marketing budget to promote your store, you might want to leave this alone. The future for online stores lies in "Niche Stores". Basically, you find a product that you know a lot about and you only sell that product. People that are searching for that particular product will find your site much easier. People that are shopping in general are 1000 times more likely to go to sites that they are familiar with and trust such as Wal-Mart and Amazon.com

Now, MLM businesses are the way of the future. I know what you're thinking, aren't MLM businesses scams? These are those pyramids marketing business that you probably have tried and failed with in the past. Well the answer to that question is yes and no. The MLM business model is not a scam but because of the nature of people, it becomes a scam. If you truly get people to actually sign up and do what the model says, you will make large amounts of money. If you can't then you got scammed.

Let's take for instance a MLM business I got in, in my home state of Texas. It's an electric provider that has decided to do its marketing by MLM. They created an MLM company to do all of it's marketing for them. It is for real and they have grown to be the 5th largest energy provider in the state of Texas in 3 years now.

I got in this company and there were many people that I knew that was making unbelievable amounts of money. I did not make much money however but I didn't lose any money. So for those people that were making money, it was a great business but for me I guess you could qualify it as a scam even though it wasn't.

Now, let me make a point that there are differences between a pyramid scheme and a MLM program. The pyramid scheme is similar to a mLm program but it is a scam because it does not offer a legit product or service. They usualy try to get you to sell something that people don't need or want. They are vague on what exactly the product or service is and they just hype you up about how much money you can make.

A MLM program have the same kind of setup but are real and legitimate companies that offer useful and desirable products or services. They not only tell you how much money you can make but how you can get the leads to build your business. Still it takes work on your part to build your business because it is not a get rich scheme like the Pyramid schemes are.

The problem with MLM and Pyramid schemes is the ability to get people to act. If you just look at the MLM structure, sure enough it looks easy. Most look like get rich quick schemes. I have learned that MLM will work for you but it takes work just like any other business. You have to get people to act and that's hard to do. You could be trying to give them a free $100 dollars and they would find an excuse as to why they can't take it.

Now, as to making money online...

A strange thing happened a couple years ago with traditional advertising for companies. An invention called TiVo and DVR have created a change in advertisement. When people started recording their shows and skipping the advertising, companies realized that they would have to find additional ways to advertise. Now they still use TV as the major form of advertisement but there are now new exciting opportunities for them to use online. Companies were already switching to advertising on the internet because of the growing popularity.

Now if you add the problems of finding traffic for a website and add the need to make the web site a major tool for advertising, you will find a great money making venture for you and me. Let me give you an example of the kind of advertising money sites like Myspace is making every month. Myspace makes around 20 million dollars every month from advertisements. That's right and you are not getting a dime of it are you.

Now, remember those MLM businesses I was just talking about? Well companies are now channeling those advertising dollars into their own online websites. The opportunity for us lies in the fact they are now using MLM as the structure to get traffic. You can literally sign up "for free" at these sites and then refer others to the site "for free" and make money.

Many young social networking sites, offer you the opportunity to sign up for free and make money by referring others to their site. They will pay you money just for doing the normal social networking stuff you do on MySpace and Facebook!

Wait there's more...

One of the web hosting companies that I currently use, are using MLM programs to get more traffic. They pay you a commission on your down line's purchases. Think about the potential. This site however requires that you use their services. So you pay $10/ month for web hosting and they will give you the domain for free if you use a .ws domain extension instead a .com domain extension. So the program is not free but what is $10/month compared to the return it provides.

The really big source of income with this company is their bonus program. They pay you $100 for every 5 referrals you make in a one week period. There are people on there making over $1000 a week!

Guys if you missed out on the .com boom then you don't want to miss the referral boom that is happening right now! You need to get an internet presence such as a website or blog and just teach the same stuff I have been talking about in this article. There are so many people out there that do not know this information.
